plain swim lessons

Plain Local Swim Lessons

Every first grader in Plain Local Schools now receives free swim lessons at the local YMCA, benefiting around 450 students across six elementary schools. The program, made possible through a private donation and partnerships, provides essential water safety skills, helping students build confidence both in the pool and in the classroom. With the support of the district and YMCA, these lessons aim to save lives and foster lifelong self-esteem.
