Welcome to the YMCA Foster Care-Kinship Membership Program
The YMCA of Central Stark County is proud to support families and children through our Foster Care-Kinship Membership Program. This initiative reflects our commitment to fostering community, supporting families, and promoting equitable access to resources that empower every child to reach their full potential.

About the Program
The YMCA offers regional memberships to youth and teens currently in foster care or kinship placement. This program ensures that children in these arrangements have access to the YMCA's facilities and programs, creating opportunities for growth, connection, and well-being.

Foster Children: Eligible for a 1-year regional membership.
Kinship Children: Eligible for a 6-month regional membership.

How to Apply
Complete the Application and return to any YMCA of Central Stark County location.

Provide Supporting Documentation:

  • Information about the child’s placement type (Foster Care or Kinship Care).
  • Contact details for the caseworker or agency.
  • Signed waiver or equivalent documentation from the responsible agency.
  • Submit Your Application: Drop off the completed form at the Member Engagement Desk at any YMCA location.
