Free temporary memberships are provided to individuals newly enlisted in the military and preparing for boot camp/training.
- Max of 4 months of membership at no cost.
- Must present enlistment papers for review
- Military Get Fit membership is not renewable
Eligible for active-duty military personnel that are on leave.
- Must present a valid military ID.
- Individual receives a temporary pass for the length of time they will be visiting.
YMCA of the USA, the Armed Services YMCA, and the Department of Defense launched this initiative to address the needs of families of deployed military personnel who live far from a military base and require access to child development, family strengthening, and health and well-being programming. The following groups are eligible:
- Family members of Title 10 deployed National Guard or Reservists
- Relocated Spouse/Dependent Children of deployed
- Active-Duty personnel assigned to Independent Duty (recruiter’s office)
- Community Based Wounded Warrior Transition Unit
Member must apply for membership through asymca.org website and when approved the approval will be emailed to the local YMCA branch.

All active-duty military and veterans are eligible to receive a 10% discount and $0 join fee when they purchase a membership.
